Free Dish Network?! Please Help?

Hiya, I just moved and somone left their dish network antenna in our backyard. Its all hooked up and run through the house, and when I plug it into my TV. I only get one REALLY fuzzy channel. Is there any way to change the antenna to pick up TV stations? Please help The antenna is on a stand so theres no need to have it on the roof.

It says Dish Network 500 on it.
