    4 digit numbers are Frequencies for C-band BIG Dish
    5 digit numbers are Frequencies for KU-band Small Dish

    R and L or H and V are the Polarity.

    SR means Symbol Rate.

    Example : 11612 H SR 3670
    Freq 11612
    Polarity H or Horizontal
    SR 3670

    if you are on the correct satellite and enter the correct information you will have signal.

    here is a link with a video explaining how to use Lyngsat.

    Having a Blind scan receiver helps out alot , because it finds all the channels for you.
